Snow storm stirs complaints

Does the university cancel the shuttles during a snowstorm because their name is bolded on the sides? If it is too dangerous for shuttles to drive from campus to Wal-Mart, why is it okay to ask commuters to travel around town?

Why is the university too cool to use mainstream media to announce closings or delays? What if a student lives in a place that doesn’t get WQUN (which could be 10 minutes off campus) or they do not have good internet access? Who can remember a phone number to call?

The university has taken a huge step back in regards to media relations. It’s okay to close school and show concern for students.

If school isn’t closed, and I get into an accident, don’t worry, l’ll peel my commuter sticker off and burn my Q-card to avoid bad PR.
