Evan Conti has become the second former Quinnipiac men’s basketball player in as many days to sign with professional representation.

The four-year guard has signed with Neal Rosenshein of Summit Sports Group, Quinnipiac athletics reported Wednesday afternoon.

“I am extremely happy to sign with an agent,” Conti told The Chronicle. “It is a major milestone in living out my lifelong dream, which is to be a professional basketball player in Israel.”

Conti added that he is currently in the process of getting dual citizenship in Israel, and that he hopes to have the process finished as soon as he possibly can.

“I join everyone in the Quinnipiac University basketball program in congratulating Evan Conti and his family on his signing with Neal Rosenshein and Summit Sports Group,” Quinnipiac men’s basketball head coach Tom Moore said in a statement to The Chronicle. “Evan has been a tough, loyal and hard-working member of our team and an integral part of our success over the last four years. Although we will miss him dearly, we are all excited for him as he begins his professional career.”

Conti was a member of the United States’ team in the 2013 World Maccabiah Games, which took place in Israel. The event is most commonly known as the “Jewish Olympics,” and is the second largest sporting event in the world.

The senior averaged 9.0 points, 4.8 rebounds and 2.6 assists per game during his final season with the Bobcats in 2014-15.

Yesterday, Conti’s former Quinnipiac teammate Zaid Hearst announced he had signed with Arete Sports Agency. In addition to Conti and Hearst, forward Ousmane Drame told The Chronicle that he is currently in the process of finding representation.
