Quinnipiac women’s ice hockey forward Kahlen Lamarche has set Quinnipiac’s Division I points record with points in the Bobcats’ 5-4 win over the Brown Bears Sunday afternoon in the third game of the ECAC Quarterfinals.
“I’m super grateful,” Lamarche said. “I love breaking records and I love doing it with this team.”
The Sudbury, Ontario native is in the midst of wrapping up a career year in Hamden, recording 42 goals and 60 total points across 37 games. Lamarche was also recently named to the All-ECAC Hockey First Team along with sophomore goaltender Felicia Frank.
“She deserves that,” head coach Cass Turner said. “She’s worked really hard to get where she is.”
The record was previously held by former Bobcat forward Kelly Babstock ‘14, who recorded 59 points in the 2010-11 season.
