Quinnipiac volleyball’s senior outside hitter Yagmur Gunes entered the transfer portal Thursday.
The Bursa, Turkey native spent four years at Quinnipiac and was part of the freshmen starting line-up that propelled the Bobcats to their first ever MAAC Title. This year, she became only the second Bobcat to break the 1,000 kills and digs milestone.
She ends her Quinnipiac run with 1,173 kills, 147 service aces, 1,145 digs, 85 block assists and 24 solo blocks. In her senior season, she was named to the All-MAAC First Team.
Her transfer information indicated that she’s looking for beach volleyball teams as well.
