After a record-breaking pitstop in Hamden, Gal Raviv is moving on to the Atlantic Coast Conference to play for the Miami Hurricanes.
First reported by Talia Goodman on X, Raviv later made it official by posting her commitment on Instagram.
The Bobcats played the Hurricanes this season on Dec. 1, Raviv scored 25 points and grabbed five boards in a tightly contested overtime loss.
The freshman point guard entered the transfer portal following Quinnipiac’s loss to Fairfield in the MAAC Finals on March 15.
Raviv gave a heartfelt goodbye to the town of Hamden on Instagram, thanking Quinnipiac for the opportunity.
“I appreciate the trust you gave me from the first day I stepped onto campus,” Raviv wrote. “I am nothing without your love and support.”
The MAAC Rookie and Player of The Year averaged 17.9 points, 5.5 rebounds and 4.3 assists during her lone season at Quinnipiac.
