Bob Saget signs on for Fall Show [Video]

The Student Programming Board (SPB) announced this afternoon that actor-comedian Bob Saget will headline the Fall Mainstage Event on Oct. 2 at the TD Bank Sports Center.

Saget, best known as Danny Tanner on the long-running sitcom “Full House,” was a popular choice among students.

“Bob Saget was one of the top picks,” Jamie Kloss, SPB Mainstage Chair, said. “We thought we’d switch it up. This is a good opportunity to mix up what we typically do.”

Kloss confirms the Wake the Giant Spring Concert will remain in the spring.

BELOW: Saget assures audience members that Danny Tanner wasn’t gay… he thinks.

hahah the only time I ever heard of Bob Saget is on South Park, when the kids wanted to watch Terrence and Phillip and Stan’s suicidal grandpa wanted to watch Bob Saget.

      Are you an idiot?

How have you never heard of Bob Saget?

Did you watch TV as a child? Did your parents hate you?

this is stupid. there were much better comedians on that list. instead we’ll have to listen to washed up bob saget talk about raping kimmie gibbler and dave coulier’s balls. classy.

If you’re interested in a particular act, take SPB’s surveys and encourage your friends to do the same! Saget was the clear winner on this year’s survey, and we did our best to give QU students what they want.
