    BOBCAT BRIEFS

    Ledges Break-In

Four freshmen residents of Ledges returned from a weekend at home to find out that their first floor room had been burglarized. Campus security involved the Hamden Police. However, the
perpetrator has not been apprehended. The
incident that occurred three weeks ago is still under investigation.

    WQAQ at the Cafe Q

WQAQ will be playing at the Cafe Q every other Friday from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m. DJs will be playing a variety of music ranging from rock to pop to alternative. If you don’t hear the music you like, DJs are open to requests.

Previously, SPB had played music at the Cafe Q on Fridays to ring in the weekend. Now, SPB and WQAQ’s DJs will be alternating weeks playing music during the prime lunch time.

WQAQ hopes to increase its listenership through the exposure of playing at the Cafe Q. WQAQ is currently not broadcasting on the radio, can all of its shows are streaming on the station’s Web site, www.wqaq.com.

“We want to reverse the misconception that WQAQ is completely off the airwaves,” WQAQ general manager Paula Raimo said.
