The snow has stopped falling at Quinnipiac this evening, but Facilities is still busy with the cleanup process, according to administration.

“All three campuses are generally in pretty good shape,” said Keith Woodward, associate vice president for facilities operations.

Woodward said the Facilities crew has been on campus since 5 a.m. will continue to work into the evening with a variety of crews.

Shuttle services are expected to resume tomorrow at 6 a.m., according to the Chief of Public Safety David Barger. But he said the overnight weather may or may not impact another change in the shuttle schedule.

“We’re not quite sure if we’re going to have a bit more snow or some freezing rain overnight,” Barger said.

In comparison to last week’s storm, Barger said this storm is different because the roads are more slippery and there was some freezing rain. However, this does not mean classes will be cancelled tomorrow. Woodward said the decision to cancel classes happens around 5:30 a.m.

Alice Holland, the director of health services, warns students to stay hydrated in the cold weather. She also recommends avoiding going outside, but being cautious if you must.

“Stay warm and cozy inside,” she said. “If you do decide to go outside, I would recommend to layer up and don’t forget gloves, a hat and a scarf.”
