On Sept. 25 QU alerts sent text messages and emails as well as called Quinnipiac students to inform them of the search for a black male in a blue Nissan Juke who was suspected in being involved in a home invasion on Shepherd Ave. Within the hour the Hamden Police Department called off their search and asked students to report anything suspicious. Students voiced their opinions on how the university handled the situation.
