Fall Out Boy fans have reason to celebrate. After they took an “indefinite hiatus” in 2009, the Chicago-based band has reunited in time for the 10-year anniversary of their first full-length studio album, “Take This To Your Grave.” Fall Out Boy, consisting of Pete Wentz, Patrick Stump, Joe Trohman and Andy Hurley, announced their reunion Monday, Feb. 4, releasing a new single, “My Songs Know What You Did in the Dark (Light Em Up).” This is the first release from Fall Out Boy’s new album, “Save Rock and Roll,” which hits stores on May 6. The news quickly spread on the Internet, and the song reached the iTunes Top 10 charts, where it still remains.

The band also announced a North American tour, starting in Milwaukee on May 14, and will visit cities such as Toronto, New York, Miami, Seattle, Denver, Detroit and Boston before wrapping it up in Nashville on June 30. After the announcement, the band tweeted a photo of the four musicians burning records by a bonfire in their hometown, with the caption “The future of Fall Out Boy starts now. #saverockandroll.” With a history of hits, and a catchy first single, there are few doubts they’ll do exactly that!
