Ask anyone on campus if they know the song “Levels” by Avicii; if they don’t know it, they are not a true college student. Since the single was debuted on Oct. 31, I’ve heard this song play every weekend, along with other Quinnipiac favorites, such as “Turbulence,” “Wild Ones,” and somewhat surprisingly, “Call Me Maybe.” But, in my opinion, “Levels”—and Avicii as a whole—brings something entirely new to the table. These other songs have lived and died, while “Levels” remains incredibly popular.

For all of those “Levels” fans out there, you are in luck. On Tuesday, April 17, Avicii will perform at the Webster Bank Arena in Bridgeport, Conn. This is an excellent opportunity for Quinnipiac fans, since the only thing separating them from the concert is a 20-minute train ride from New Haven to Bridgeport. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. and the concert begins at 7:30 p.m. The show happens to be an all-ages event and the best part is tickets are still available, ranging from $45 to $65.

Despite how awesome Avicii is, if you do not enjoy club or house music, this might not be the concert for you. But, if you are obsessed with Avicii like I am, then you really would not dare to miss such a perfect event. While the Swedish-born DJ artist’s most well-known song may be “Levels,” he has many other creations that are equally brilliant. His concert can be enjoyed by just about anyone who has a taste for house music.

If you’re still dubious about whether to spend the money to see Avicii in concert, let me assure you; it’s worth it. In a recent interview with Michael Picard for the Huffington Post, Picard asked about what concert-goers should expect from his show in Bridgeport on the 17th. Avicii replied, “I’m ready and I’m really looking forward to the show! I don’t know what I’m allowed to say, but be prepared; the show is going to be HUGE! Something you’ve never seen before…”
