Mike Atkinson
Senior assistant captain Mike Atkinson led the Quinnipiac Bobcats to a 4-2 win against Clarkson on Friday night for its first ECAC win of the year. Atkinson had a hat trick, scoring two shorthanded goals and adding an empty-net goal with less than 20 seconds to play. Atkinson is tied for fourth on the team in points and goals scored this season.
Victoria Vigilanti
Freshman goalie Victoria Vigilanti continued a strong start to the season, powering the women’s ice hockey team to a three-point weekend on the road. Vigilanti stopped all 34 shots she faced in a 0-0 tie on Friday at Brown, and allowed a power play goal on Saturday in the Bobcats’ 2-1 win at Yale. She leads ECAC Hockey with .949 save percentage
