After calling them his children and saying he loves them all, presidential candidate and The Rent Is Too Damn High Party member Jimmy McMillan told Quinnipiac students in the School of Law Grand Courtroom Thursday night they should stand up for their rights.
The last time Justin Rutty suited up to play against Monmouth University, he was forced to sit on the sidelines with an elbow injury. On Thursday night, once again against Monmouth, the healthy senior sat in the driver’s seat. Rutty scored 17 points and grabbed 17 rebounds in Quinnipiac’s 64-59 victory over Monmouth at the Bank.
The Bulldogs came hard at the Bobcats. So hard that one Yale slap shot even sailed through Quinnipiac’s net.
The Bulldogs, ranked third in the nation, trounced the Bobcats in humiliating fashion, 6-1, in front of a student section that dwindled as the game progressed. Quinnipiac (13-13-5, 6-9-4 ECAC) had never fallen against archrival Yale (21-5-0, 15-4-0) at TD Bank Sports Center until Friday night.
With her 16th goal of the year, Quinnipiac’s Kelly Babstock broke the women’s ice hockey team’s single season scoring record in a 4-0 win over the Brown Bears Friday night at the TD Bank Sports Center.
