Men’s basketball rising junior forward Spence Wewe has signed with Hofstra University from the transfer portal, per his Instagram.
In 39 career games with the Bobcats, Wewe averaged 2.4 points and 4.6 rebounds. The Bristol, England native shot 52% from the field in his sophomore campaign with the Bobcats.
Wewe joins a Hofstra squad that finished its 2025-26 season 24-11, winning the Coastal Athletic Association to earn a berth to the NCAA Tournament for the first time since 2001. Hofstra entered March Madness as the 13 seed, falling to Alabama in the Round of 64.
