Quinnipiac men’s ice hockey sophomore defenseman Elliott Groenewold was named ECAC Best Defensive Defenseman Thursday afternoon per Quinnipiac men’s ice hockey’s Instagram.
Groenewold, who posted an impressive +38 plus-minus rating while tallying 45 blocked shots and 19 points on the season, has been a locked-down defenseman for the Bobcats this season.
