Quinnipiac women’s ice hockey assistant coach Brent Hill and former defenseman Kati Tabin ‘20 won Olympic medals on Feb. 19, marking the second consecutive Games where a Bobcat took home a medal.
Hill won gold as a member of the U.S. women’s hockey team’s coaching staff in its 2-1 overtime victory against Canada. He is in the midst of his sixth season at Quinnipiac as a coach, leading the team’s power play.
Tabin, a member of the Quinnipiac team from 2016-20, appeared in all seven games for Canada. She is currently a member of the PWHL’s Montreal Victoire, recording six points in 15 games played as of publication.
