Quinnipiac women’s basketball junior forward Anna Foley scored her 1,000 career point Thursday night in the Bobcats’ 62-40 victory over the Siena Saints.
“It feels great,” Foley said after the win. “It’s a great milestone.”
Foley has been a force on both sides of the ball well into her junior season. She is averaging 9.5 points and 5.5 rebounds per game on offense, while recording 21 blocks and 29 steals in 25 games on the defensive side of the ball.
“(She) is so smart and such a great player,” head coach Tricia Fabbri said. “To have someone with her talent and her skill to be able to run an offense … it’s been such an advantage.”
Foley joins graduate student guard Jackie Grisdale and senior guard Sydney Ryan as the latest and most recent Bobcats to achieve the 1,000 point milestone.
