Quinnipiac women’s ice hockey has been recognized in the top of the national rankings halfway through its season, ranking third in shutouts and scoring defense, with six shutouts, fifth in goals scored, with 66 and seventh in penalty kill, killing off 41 opportunities from its opponents.
The Bobcats have not been shy in the national rankings so far this season, with junior forward Kahlen Lamarche continually being one of the top goal scorers in the nation. With the squad No. 8 in the nation and No. 4 in the ECAC, the Bobcats enter the new year high in the ranks, expecting to only go up from here.
