    SGA official resigns

Student Government Association Vice President of Student Concerns, Andrew Clark resigned last Wednesday for personal reasons.

Clark, a junior political science major, officially announced his resignation at last week’s SGA meeting in front of SGA officals and turned off Q30 cameras.

Clark also announced that he will not return to Quinnipiac for the remainder of the semester, but will return for the spring semester.

“Andy Clark is truly one of the great student leaders on this campus, and even a better person and friend,” SGA President Sean Geary said. “Even though his position is vacant, SGA will continue to move forward and work for the student body at our highest levels.”

Geary said SGA will contact all eligible candidates regarding the vacant position, and that the position will be filled via a “special election” that will be held at this Wednesday’s SGA meeting.

Credentials for eligible candidates interested in the position include at least two full semesters as elected officials, or at least three semesters as an official for any “standing committee” (i.e. Student Programming Board). All paper work and signatures for interested candidates must be submitted by Tuesday Oct. 30.
