Today is the last chance the Quinnipiac community has to view the internationally-recognized AIDS Memorial Quilt sponsored by the Quinnipiac chapter of Students Against Destructive Decisions (SADD.)

The Quilt, which has been on display since Monday in Alumni Hall, has attracted more than 200 people over the past three days. Tonight, SADD, the organization sponsoring the second annual Quilt exhibit, will host Elise Cofield, founder of the AIDS Interfaith Network, for a talk in Alumni Hall.

SADD president, Charity Stout, a media production major, invites the university community and area residents to visit the Quilt.

“It is a really moving experience to see the memorials that families and friends have created for the victims who lost their lives to AIDS,” Stout said.
The Quilt will be available for public viewing until 7 p.m. in Alumni Hall before Alumni Hall is transformed from a center of reflection to that of sharing new ideas with one of the foremost authorities on AIDS.
