SGA reveals Class of 2019 election results

The Student Government Association announced the results from the election for the Class of 2019.

President

Baily Hersh is the Class of 2019 president with 304 votes and 29.68 percent of the vote.

Cameron Burbank trailed behind with 253 votes and 24.7 percent of the vote.

Other presidential candidates:

Joseph Iasso – 157 votes, 15.33 percent of the vote

Logan O’Malley – 95 votes, 9.27 percent of the vote

Kimberly Ellsworth – 64 votes, 6.25 percent of the vote

Rebecca Hassel – 45 votes, 4.39 percent of the vote

Joanna Sayed Ahmed – 26 votes, 2.53 percent of the vote

Nisha Ghandi – 25 votes, 2.44 percent of the vote

Rena Katsev – 22 votes, 2.14 percent of the vote

Kaitlyn Murphy – 18 votes, 1.75 percent of the vote

15 people abstained, with 1.46 percent of the vote

Vice President

Vice President of the Class of 2019 Victoria Johnson with 287 votes and  28.02 percent of the vote.

Allison Kuhn trailed behind with 214 votes and 20.89 percent of the vote.

Other vice presidential candidates:

Ryan Hicks – 167 votes, 16.3 percent of the vote

Jacqueline Schmedel – 131 votes, 12.79 percent of the vote

Ashley Priante – 81 votes, 7.91 percent of the vote

Megan Moyse – 63 votes, 6.15 percent of the vote

45 people abstained, with 4.39 percent of the vote

Tyler Culp – 36 votes, 3.51 percent of the vote

Representatives of the Class of 2019:

The Class of 2019 representatives are Cameron Burbank, Joseph Iasso, Ryan Hicks, Logan O’Malley, MJ Baird, Allison Kuhn, Cara Straus and Jacqueline Schmedel. The votes were as follows:

Baily Hersh – 504 votes, 8.64 percent of the vote

Cameron Burbank – 428 votes, 7.34 percent of the vote

Joseph Iasso – 374 votes, 6.41 percent of the vote

Victoria Johnson – 339 votes, 5.81 percent of the vote

Ryan Hicks – 315 votes, 5.4 percent of the vote

Logan O’Malley – 313 votes, 5.36 percent of the vote

MJ Baird – 308 votes, 5.28 percent of the vote

Allison Kuhn – 286 votes, 4.9 percent of the vote

Cara Straus – 243 votes, 4.16 percent of the vote
