The Bobcats lost to conference foe Notre Dame, 10-2, in their final home game of the season. Jack Oppenheimer and Kevin Kelly each scored for the Bobcats, but it wasn’t enough to overtake the undefeated Fighting Irish. Neil Hicks, Eric Keppeler, Grant Krebs, Adam Felicetti and Nicholas Beattie scored the first five goals for Notre Dame, while Duncan Swezey capped the 7-0 run with two goals in the final two minutes of the half.

Quinnipiac finally got on the board three minutes into the second half thanks to an unassisted goal from Oppenheimer to make the score 7-1. The goal was his 16th of the season, which leads the team. Notre Dame responded with goals from Ryan Hoff and Krebs’ second of the day to put the Fighting Irish up 9-1.

In the fourth quarter, Kelly added a goal for the Bobcats, with an assist from Ben Mullaney, to bring the score to 9-2.
