Providence College took home first place in both the men’s and women’s races.
Sophomore Becca White led the Bobcats, finishing in third place overall at 17:57 in the 5,000-meter race. Senior graduate student Kristen Stevens came in eighth with a time of 18:18. “Overall the women ran with confidence and control today,” Quinnipiac head coach Carolyn Martin said. “There is a positive energy that’s going to carry them through the season.”

“There were some good performances today, but we still have some work to do for the championship part of the season,” Martin said. “We’re looking forward to the home invitational next week.”
