Headline players such as quarterbacks Phillip Rivers of North Carolina State and Eli Manning of Ole Miss have started out sluggish and have fallen behind the rest of the pack early on…Senior running back Brandon Warfield of Utah leads the country in rushing yards with 448 yards and touchdowns with 7, so why isn’t away mentioning his name for Heisman consideration? Symons has made the Red Raider faithful forget all about Kingsbury’s 45 touchdown passes a season ago. As of now, Symons is on pace to surpass Kingsbury’s mark with a total of 52…UConn has shown that they aren’t totally prepared to battle major Division 1A opponents. After beating Iowa State in the season finally last season and Indiana in the home opener this season, they were stomped by perennial bowl contender Boston College 24-14.
