Father Jonathan Kalisch has packed his things and headed north, as he finished up his time as Quinnipiac’s Catholic chaplain earlier this week. He announced at mass in Alumni Hall on Sunday that he will become the new chaplain of Dartmouth College in Hanover, N.H. Kalisch, who also taught a section of QU 201 last year, had worked for five years as Quinnipiac’s chaplain.
“It has been my great privilege to serve you as Chaplain,” Kalisch told campus ministry students in an e-mail on Monday. “I have always told people that I consider myself blessed to have the best job of being your Chaplain and leading you to Christ.”
Father Hugh Vincent Dyer of St. Mary’s in New Haven will be the new chaplain at Quinnipiac.
